this year is the first year that i celebrated chinese new year. with gerard of course tho not in full participation. it started out with the fireworks display at the strike of midnight. honestly, i never once knew they had fireworks on cny. on top of that, apparently, the fireworks display that night was so much better compared to those lil ones in the month of august. haha. it had to be accompanied by my topsy-turvy tummyache.

see the fireworks..... nice.....
working on cny day was fun. hardly any calls and got a whole day to play cards. more visiting on the second and third day. i realised something about cny and the chinese culture. for this speacial occasion, its about gambling - winning and losing money rather than nice yummy food.

after the cny madness, finally got down to meeting my poopy pants! at last! for the 2 months that she is here in singapore, i didnt have a chance to meet her and she has to leave this coming wednesday. sobs.. thank you poop for you are so thoughtful. thanks for the glut rings that you got us. it was so personalised. i guess this will bond us even closer. i hope. ok we shall make an attempt to meet more frequently now ya..
